Promo Terms & Conditions / Mechanics

- Program Description. This is a promotional program offered by ABS-CBN Australia Pty. Ltd. (“ABS-CBN”) for new subscribers of The Filipino Channel (“TFC”). Through the Prgram, new subscribers of TFC can avail of free delivery of packages or Balikbayan Boxes to the Philippines.
- Who Can Avail of the Promo.
- Individuals, of legal age, who apply for Subscription Plan A or Subscription Plan B for TFC within the Promo Period and whose subscription is subsequently activated. Activation is completed upon charging the individual with the initial subscription payment and the installation of the TFC equipment. Subscription Plan A and Subscription Plan B are described as follows:

How to Avail of the Promo. Anyone interested to join may call 1800 ABS CBN (1800 227 226, the ABS CBN Hotline) to get an application form by fax, or fill out an application form which may be handed out by TFC dealers.
After the application has been processed and ABS-CBN has determined that applicant-subscriber is qualified to avail of the Promo Package, the applicant will be charged with the initial subscription payment and the TFC equipment will be installed (activation of subscription), Thereafter, ABS CBN shall send the customer a Balikbayan Box Gift Certificate (BB GC) within 15 days after the subscription is activated. The BB GC will be sent via postal mail to the applicant- subscriber at the address he declared/ stated in his application form.
Upon receipt of the BB GC, the subscriber shall call the Forex Hotline to arrange for Forex’s pick-up of the Balikbayan Box/es only at the applicant-subscriber’s address he declared/stated in his application form. At the start of the call, applicant-subscriber shall provide to the customer sales agent with the unique BB GC number to enable the customer sales agent to verify that applicant-subscriber qualified for the Promo.
Forex shall pick up the Balikbayan Box/es only at the address provided by subscriber in his application form. During pick-up, subscriber shall present his valid ID. Should subscriber designate a representative, such representative shall present subscriber’s valid ID, an authorization letter, and representative’s own valid ID.

Promo Period is from 16 April to 30 June 2012.

Redemption or delivery period for the Balikbayan Box is on or before 31 October 2012.

Other Terms and Conditions:

A Balikbayan Box Gift Certificate can only be used once to avail of the Promo Package. Lost or damaged Balikbayan Box Gift Certificates shall not be honored and shall not be replaced.

This promo is non-transferrable and non-convertible to cash and/or Monthly Service Fee credits.

Forex policies, terms and conditions on the contents, shipment and delivery of boxes to Manila will continue to apply.

ABS-CBN shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurrerd in Forex’s delivery of the Balikbayan Boxes.
